Operation Oriental Expression / Mission S3-07 / Mission Briefing

Mission Objectives:
1.  Find the location of the Nakamura facility where Project "Thief of the Gods" is being developed.
2.  Maintain cover for all SAGA agents and for Chernobog.

Background:
The SAGA directorate has decided that the "Thief of the Gods" virus, which allows the host to mimic the super powers of those nearby, is a bigger threat than Purge herself.  The only known cure is the Ethon nanites, which only suppress the virus and which carry their own deadly side effects.  To make further progress, SAGA scientists have requested that we infiltrate Nakamura Industries and bring them the files on Project "Thief of the Gods."

To this end, Chernobog, who is now working for SAGA, has arranged a meeting with several underworld contacts.  This meeting will take the form of an innocuous card game between passengers on the Trans-Siberian Railway as it passes through the Ural mountains.  Team Bulldog is to accompany Chernobog as his bodyguards and as fellow passengers.

Guests:
Chernobog:  A bald, extremely fat Polish man of his middle years, Chernobog has a cheerful, bombastic demeanor and has recently undergone a religious conversion.  Chernobog has put out the word that he has been in hiding, but would now like to purchase some Project "Thief of the Gods" for a particular client.

Sakai:  A skinny Japanese man with silver hair pulled back into a pony tail and a remarkably long fu-man-chu mustache.  Sakai follows the tradition of the Samurai and has been connected to Nakamura in the past.  He is well-dressed and carries a katana at all times.

Charon:  A tall, lanky man with black hair, sunken eyes and pale skin, Charon is a suspected Ubertech operative.  He has appeared at several biological warfare-related incidents and is likely to know something about Project "Thief of the Gods."

Dr. Damien Diplodox:  An "eccentric inventor," Dr. Diplodox is a chubby fellow with buck teeth.  He usually wears a brown flight jacket and aviator's cap with goggles.  He dabbles in a variety of technologies but has been known to explore metapsionics.

Lady Crimsonne:  A breathtakingly beautiful woman with wavy red hair and copper eyes, Crimsonne is an underworld information and introduction broker, helping shady characters meet one another and conduct their business.  She is hosting the card game and is unlikely to participate.  Her only information on Nakamura was to suggest inviting Sakai.

Location:
The main line of the Trans-Siberian Railway will leave Moscow midnight, leave Gorky at 6am and leave Perm at 10pm local time, entering the Urals.  The card game will begin in a private section of a lounge car once the train has left Perm and will continue overnight.  Most guests are expected to exit the train at Yekaterinburg at 4am, or continue on to Omsk, leaving at around 2pm.

Operation Parameters:
The team assigned to this mission can select an appropriate approach, although they must protect Chernobog (as he is now a valuable SAGA resource).  Agent Bulldog and Ms. Ambriose will be standing by in a high speed jet to extract Chernobog in case things go horribly wrong.

The mission team will have access to 20 points worth of SAGA equipment and resources.

The time frame for this mission is two days from now.
